During this tour, we’ll visit the School of Restoration of the City Historian’s Office, where young students learn the art of pottery, ceramics and metalsmithing. Next, we’ll visit the studio of the Casanovas, heirs to the tradition of Camagüeyan pottery. There you’ll be able to create a piece with your own hands, watch an expert use the potter’s wheel and learn how to make a tinajón (a big-bellied pot that is a symbol of our town).
